Aware's Veritas 2000 DSL Test System enables PC modem or standalone modem manufacturers to perform functional tests without requiring expensive DSLAM equipment. Compact and lightweight, the Veritas 2000 provides two standard-compliant central office (ATU-C) ports for testing and analyzing remote terminal (ATU-R) ADSL modems and chip sets. The Veritas 2000 supports full-rate ADSL ANSI T1.413, G.dmt ITU G.992.1 and G.lite ITU G.992.2 ADSL standards. (For ADSL over ISDN functionality per ETSI TM6 and ITU-T G.992.1 standards, Aware's Veritas 2000B is also available.)

Fast Modem Verification
Using either the V.35 or ATM25 data interface, the Veritas 2000 can provide chipset and modem verification in seconds.
Flexible Test System
Based on the Analog Devices 20msp930 chipset, the Veritas 2000 is able to test both full-rate and G.lite modems that meet ITU and ANSI ADSL standards. The Veritas 2000 is also portable and easily configured with other ADSL test equipment. In addition, the Veritas 2000's modular design supports future technology upgrades.

The Veritas 2000 provides a cost-effective alternative to purchasing a DSLAM for testing ATU-R ADSL equipment. And because Veritas 2000 comes equipped with two ATU-C ports, users can test two ADSL modems simultaneously.

The Veritas 2000 requires minimal bench space (12.5" l x 3.5"h x 11.25"w), and provides an ideal solution for testing in confined operating environments. And the system's lightweight yet durable sealed-structure meets the demands of a manufacturing environment.
Management
Using Aware's FinshLineTM Management Software, the Veritas 2000 can be custom configured to perform a variety of functional tests. These tests can provide chipset diagnostics, modem training analysis, link analysis, data testing and modem error statistics. FinshLine also supports bar code scanning, MAC ID or user entered options for modem identification.
