For use in metro-access ring and point-to-point applications the GigaEdge 8200 has been designed to minimise Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) whilst delivering a powerful metro edge solution.

The flexibility and simplicity of the GigaEdge 8200 enables operators to deliver true carrier-class service over CWDM. Its modular design provides low first-in costs that track the revenue profile allowing you to scale the network cost-effectively. Operational expenditure is optimised through plug and play functionality. It is also simple to install and has a very low spares requirement.
