Lucent Stinger STGR LMP 48
The 48-port SDSL line interface modules (LIMs) for the Stinger DSL access concentrator provide data link support and ATM multiplexing for symmetrical subscriber lines using 2B1Q encoding. Each module interfaces through the Stinger chassis to a line protection module (LPM), which in turn provides connection for the incoming lines.

Each module interfaces through the Stinger chassis to a line protection module (LPM), which in turn provides connection for the incoming lines. The 48-port SDSL LIM supports symmetric downstream and upstream speeds of up to 2.32 Mbps. Within a single Stinger chassis, one or more SDSL LIMs can work alongside LIMs supporting any mix of xDSL access technologies. Depending on the chassis model, a Stinger can support a maximum of 5 to 14 SDSL LIMs.
