  The DECserver 716 & 732 are high density, high performance asynchronous device servers that connect your serial devices to an Ethernet network. Available in 16 and 32 RJ-45 serial ports, this DECserver supports either of two sets of software-selectable four-signal modem control signals.

  The DECserver 716 & 732 provide the in-band and out-of-band access you need to confidently connect to, monitor, and control any serial device in your network.

  The DECservers have AUI and 10BaseT Ethernet connectors, supporting up to eight sessions per port and speeds up to 115.2 Kb/s per port. An external FLASH socket for the customer installable Flash Card supports a self-booting operation. The servers run DNAS (DECserver Network Access Software), which delivers multi-protocol support for TCP/IP, IPX, and AppleTalk networks. The units are designed for tabletop or rack-mount configuration.
